With many parents supporting children who are learning at home during the current time, we have developed a range of interesting curriculum-linked projects to work on at home. These include shorter activities ideal for families supporting younger children with learning at home and pre-planned lessons that secondary school teachers could set students as part of their curriculum learning.

TRIAL SHOPPER BUS SERVICE
The Shopper Bus trial continues through December and now that more of the Banbury shops are open, this may be an opportunity to visit? On Thursdays, via Eydon and Culworth. Users must first register their interest with Ability, then book their seat for a particular date.

Villagers should find the 4th Parish Council Newsletter for 2020 printed on the reverse side of the Village Calendar, distributed to all homes. It gives more detail on how they are obliged to make their decisions, particularly when it comes to financial matters.
The Community Bus Service trial is also continuing into December, even in these unfortunate times of lock-down.

Bridleway AV21 parapet defects
Judith Bryant (Footpath Warden) has been advised that the old railway bridge on Bridleway AV21 belongs to the Historical Railways Estate. They are aware of the parapet defects brought to their attention by Judith. The structure is being monitored regularly and an assessment and remedial works are being carried out by the Historical Railway estate.
